COURSE OVERVIEW
One of the greatest challenges in organizations is implementing change. Expert consultants often are engaged to help to effect change and arrive with their version of the “best” methodology to use. Unfortunately, the methodology developed within one organizational culture does not always suit another. Even if the organization is able to use it, the employees may be resistant because they have not been involved in decisions that affect how their work is done. The people who do the work determine the success of any change effort.
Organizations today must have effective and efficient processes to ensure their competitiveness. Any organization that is willing to invest in itself can change or improve by utilizing a methodology that provides an opportunity for employees (those who perform the work) to design, redesign, and/or improve their processes. The Value Wave model is based on the principles of organization development, evolution and change management.
