COURSE OVERVIEW

Employees who feel valued and recognized for the work they do are more motivated, responsible, and productive.

Motivating your Workforce workshop will help participants create a more dynamic, engaged, and energized workplace as they learn how to motivate employees. Every employee is motivated by different things, and acknowledging what motivates each person individually is important in strengthening their connection to their employer and workplace — a connection that will pay off in numerous positive ways.

In this course, learn about: what motivation is; common motivational theories and how to apply them; and how to create and maintain a motivational climate.

KEY TOPICS COVERED

  • The difference between features and benefits

  • The importance of being perceptive and relating to the customer’s situation/needs

  • A presentation model with guidelines to help salespeople to present in terms of benefits that match a customer’s strongest need

  • How to apply the four steps of the objection-handling model for identifying and responding to a customer’s concern

  • Discover how to phrase questions in a way that clarifies how the customer feels and pinpoints their true hesitation
